Rite Lite Signs To Help Hospitality Industry Turn Lights Back On
Company offers up to 50% discount for new signs and architectural elements

CONCORD, NC (April 22, 2021) – During the past year, the restaurant and hotel industries have suffered millions of dollars in losses. As life and businesses return somewhat to a normal state, these industries remain the lifeblood of communities. To celebrate International Hospitality Day on April 24, and aid in the industry’s recoveryRite Lite Signs, a leading custom sign manufacturer based in Concordhas launched the Helping Hospitality Turn the Lights Back On campaign. The program offers up to half off new signs and architectural elements and discounts for sign repair for businesses in select hospitality industries.

The offer is for 25% to 50% off new sign fabrication for restaurants, hotels, movie theaters, amusement parks, bowling alleys and similar businesses in the entertainment and hospitality industries. In addition, the company is offering these select industry clients a 10% to 20% discount on current sign repair. The offer is valid starting April 24 through Dec. 31, 2021. For details or to see if a business qualifies, interested business owners can contact Phil Costantini, vice president of sales for Rite Lite Signs at 800-784-5605 or [email protected].

“While these industries show some signs of recovery, we know there is a long way to go,” Costantini said. “During the pandemic this past year, companies may have pushed off costly renovations or closed completely. However, many of them look to comeback stronger than ever. We realize the importance a unique sign can have on generating foot traffic for these businesses.”

More than six in 10 American consumers say they have driven by and failed to find a business because the sign was too small or unclear, according to Rite Lite Signs.

The American Hotel and Lodging Association reported more than 670,000 operation jobs and nearly 4 million hospitality jobs were lost in 2020 due to the pandemic. Another 2.5 million jobs were lost in the restaurant industry as of January 2021 per the National Restaurant Association

There are some small signs of a slow recovery, however. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the leisure and hospitality industry increased by 280,000 jobs in March and 355,000 jobs in February following a loss of 61,000 jobs in January. The food-and-beverage services saw the largest increase with 176,000 new jobs. Year-over-year employment for the entire leisure and hospitality industry still is down more than 18.5%.

“Rite Lite Signs has had the good fortune to work with some of the industry’s leading restaurants, hotels and leisure businesses,” Costantini added. “We would be honored to assist in the recovery of these key service industries and help them turn the lights back on in 2021.”
